NVIDIA drivers installation
Remember that the "proprietary" drivers as well as the original "firmwares" of some hardware devices are not "free software", which may affect the privacy and security of the system.

It is very important that you bear in mind that if your Nvidia video card works well with nouveau "free drivers", I do not advise you, since it is not necessary, to install the proprietary nvidia drivers, unless you use some software that may require characteristics of special GPU settings like games, 3D animation soft or if you install "Steam".

If you decide to install the proprietary drivers, you will have to enable the "contrib" and "non-free" repositories; for this, if you are using the free repos "main", I opened the console and logged in as "root" run the script to enable them by typing "nonfree".

Enabled these repositories

1) In the console as "root" execute:

apt install nvidia-detect

2) Once installed, in the same terminal run the program >> nvidia-detect

3) Go to: Start> Administration> Auxtral Settings, in the "Device Drivers" tab, check the NVIDIA drivers box and click "Save Drivers". This will download and install the proprietary NVIDIA drivers from the Debian repositories.

You must reboot the system for the changes to take effect.

NOTE: in case this method has not worked for you, from the console as root execute:

/usr/lib/solydxk/ddm-nvidia.sh

when i finish do:

apt install nvidia-xconfig and when it finishes installing run it >> nvidia-xconfig
